MADE IN THE PILBARA
Stimulating Local Manufacturing. Creating Jobs. Driving Innovation
The Pilbara is more than a resources powerhouse—it’s ready to become Western Australia’s next great hub for advanced manufacturing.
Made in the Pilbara is a government-backed program designed to help manufacturers localise production, adopt new technologies, and build long-term capability in the region.
With $300,000 in funding available, the program supports businesses that want to grow, innovate, and contribute to a stronger, more diversified Pilbara economy.
About the program
Made in the Pilbara provides direct financial incentives and practical support for manufacturers looking to scale and innovate in one of Australia’s most resource-rich and strategically located regions.
Through two targeted funding streams—Microgrants and Innovation Seed Funding—the program helps small-to-medium manufacturers invest in new equipment, digital upgrades, proof-of-concept trials, skills development, and ESG readiness.
But the program is about more than just grants. Participants gain access to CORE Innovation Hub spaces, capability-building programs, and direct links to industry networks, government stakeholders, and potential partners.
