CORE hosts and supports synergistic Meetup groups whose activities are building an outstanding Community of Practice where the focal activity has direct relevance to professional and organisational activities in resources and energy. This includes Meetups whose focus is to support technical and entrepreneurial skills.

CORE invites aligned Meetups to apply for access to our range of Meetup community support opportunities such as facilitating access to a suitable space for Meetup events, providing sponsorship of venue hire, supporting corporate sponsorship proposals and promoting the Meetup to our industry and innovator network. Other support may be offered on a case-by-case basis.

Download the Meetup Support Application Form below, or contact Emma Veenema, CORE Community Director at emma@corehub.com.au to discuss your Meetup’s needs.

Space Hub Perth

We are seeing ever increasing opportunities for startups to push boundaries and be part of driving a space sector globally, and are excited about Perth entrepreneurs getting involved.

To support these opportunities and help grow the space startup ecosystem in WA, CORE is the WA hub partner of MoonshotX, an Australian organisation aimed at supporting new space infrastructure enterprises with its Gemini incubator and accelerator program, as well as proudly supporting the Space Hub Perth Meetup.

Space Hub Perth aims to help foster a coordinated, local space industry community in Western Australia, through our combined efforts to raise awareness of opportunities and capability for growing the role of local entrepreneurs and innovators in the dynamic space sector, underpinned by our strengths in resources technology.

To find out about upcoming Meetup events and activities, connect with the group through the Space Hub Perth Meetup Pageslack page, Facebook group and on Twitter.

Perth Machine Learning Group (PMLG)

CORE Innovation Hub and Western Power proudly supported the foundation year of the PMLG. Support included weekly meetings and the highly successful Women in Machine Learning workshop held as part of Data Science Week.

The Perth Machine Learning Group is a meetup group of like-minded individuals focused on developing their knowledge, skills and networks by working together through the practical (coding) challenges of machine learning and deep learning.

PMLG is striving to become a forum where confidence, knowledge and skills in Machine Learning can be developed and fostered through a commitment to teaching & community.

You can find out about upcoming events through the PMLG Meetup Page.
