Women in Subea Engineering present this lunchtime session with Sheryll Fisher , Managing Director of leadership and consulting firm Outback Initiatives who will be talking about Leading as an Introvert.
For 12 years Sheryll has been responsible for company operations, human resources, project design & execution and strategic partnerships for her company Outback Initiatives which has been operating nationally and internationally for over 24 years. Prior to joining the company in 2006, Sheryll oversaw administration, project management and quality systems for the European and Japanese Space Agencies. She is passionate about leadership development for women, youth, introverts and indigenous communities and believes leadership is something that can be learned.
Sheryll was named Belmont Business Awards BWA Businesswoman of the Year 2015. In her spare time, Sheryll likes a long walk - she's trekked Kokoda, Everest Base Camp and Island Peak in Nepal and has just acquired a trekking company to offer this experience to everyone who's up for it. Sheryll also leads a team of 38 and as a passionate introvert herself, understand the challenges introverts face in the workplace.
