Design Thinking is a new approach to problem solving, providing you with the tools to enhance your creativity, innovation and outcomes. This solution-focussed process equips you with skills that can be used to achieve significantly better results for your business or organisation. The design thinking methodology can be applied to any issue, and is the perfect tool for thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Learn how to apply the fundamental building blocks of design thinking to issues you are currently facing. This workshop walks you through the five stages of Design Thinking: identification, invitation, ideation, iteration and implementation. Working in small teams you will apply each of these steps to a practical issue, selected from participants’ current challenges.

This highly interactive workshop will provide participants with both the theory and the practice behind design thinking, equipping you with the tools to become “addicted” to this new way of working.

Ricardo is a passionate and engaging facilitator, with extensive experience in managing teams both in large corporations and start-ups. He has over 20 years as an Associate Professor of the IE Business School, Madrid, a leading European University driving innovation; and over 25 years as a Director in IBM in the USA, Argentina and Spain.

He has facilitated over 300 design thinking workshops across 11 countries and is the current researcher on “Anticipatory Design Thinking” in an H2020 European Consortia, the largest EU Research and Innovation program ever established.
