Give your startup a boost with the CORE Start award.

Calling all Startups!

We are currently accepting applications from Startups to pitch their business and how they can make a change in our industries (Mining, Oil and Gas, Resources, Energy, Defence and Space) to be the next two recipients of the CORE Start Award.

This round has been sponsored by WesTrac and NERA – who will form the majority of the judging panel on the night - and has received grant funding from the Australian Government.

What is the CORE Start award?

The CORE Start award provides energy and resources tech Startups with full time co-working space at CORE Innovation Hub with all member benefits for a period of three months.

In addition, you will receive support from CORE and the corporate partners (WesTrac and NERA) to grow your business. This support may be in the form of introductions to business networks, business advice, profiling and promoting of the company.

The CORE Start recipients will also be invited to participate in public presentations, discussions and other activities in relation to the program as an ambassador for energy and resources innovation.

The application process this year will culminate in a Pitch @ CORE session which will allow an audience and panel of judges to vote on the recipients!

Am I eligible?

To be eligible you must:

  • Have an Australian business number.

  • Be developing your own unique technology (this can include novel processes, software and hardware) that has the potential to enhance productivity and improve efficiency in the energy resources supply chain.

  • Have been developing this technology for less than 5 years.

  • Be working to grow your business to a global market.

  • Support CORE's culture of open innovation and collaboration.

How do I apply?

Applications are currently closed. Round 2 applications will be open on September 25th, 2019. To learn more or discuss your application please contact us at  info@corehub.com.au
