Engineers Australia is the national organisation for the advancement of engineering and the professional development of over 100,000 members. As the largest and most diverse professional body for engineers in Australia, it is the trusted voice of the profession. Their royal charter sets out to advance the science and practice of engineering for the benefit of the community.

At a local level, Engineers Australia advances engineering knowledge through nine colleges and 30 specialist technical societies and are the largest provider of continuous professional development (CPD) to the engineering profession.

In Western Australia, a president is elected each year who leads the division’s strategic objectives and activities for the region as part of a five-year rolling plan.

Engineers Australia’s partnership with CORE gives it the opportunity to have a presence in the city; increasing visibility and community interaction in the CBD.

The partnership is also a part of CORE’s drive to increase collaboration with like-minded organisations. Engineers Australia’s members benefit from access to central facilities and exposure to new networks.

Engineers Australia’s General Manager WA, Susan Kreemer Pickford, uses the CORE site as a meeting hub for business, government and industry.

The diverse space offered by CORE gives Engineers Australia the scope to host different types of events; from film screenings (such as A Spotlight on Indigenous Engineers presented by Engineers Without Borders), to workshops, seminars and committee meetings. The venue provides a vibrant space to network at regular industry events held throughout the year.
