Batteries included - do you have the spark to charge up Lithium Valley?
Lithium Valley is a catch-all phrase for establishing WA as a core focal point for growing clean energy resources processing, battery manufacturing and further value adding across Australia. Future Smart Strategies projected global trade in lithium batteries will soar more than 10x to $2 trillion by 2025.
How do we ensure our businesses across multiple industries are prepared for the opportunity?
Hear from the panel and contribute to the conversation as we discuss the next steps in making Lithium Valley a reality.
Prof Peter Newman AO – a global leader in sustainability and internationally recognised on multiple occasions by peers and institutions, IPCC author, and 2018 Western Australian Scientist of the Year – and of course anointed father of the Lithium Valley.
Ms Jessica Shaw MLA – previously a professional in the resources and energy sector, Jess is the Member for Swan Hills and Chair of the Economics and Industry Standing Committee – including the Microgrids inquiry currently underway.
Prof Ray Wills – another global leader in sustainability, working across all sectors including the built environment, cleantech, energy infrastructure, industrials, manufacturing, resources, transport. He was one of the lead authors for the Lithium Valley report and is the inaugural CORE Expert in Resident.
