Businesses across Perth and the world are currently doing more than just responding to COVID-19, they're providing leadership in their communities.
We will be providing a weekly update to members by both email and video. This blog post will also be updated weekly with the measures we are taking. If we need to communicate more frequently due to the fluid nature of this situation we will.
Health and Safety Measures:
Below are some of the measures CORE is taking in order to ensure your and your team's health and safety.
CORE is following all Government advice in relation to COVID-19. As you see new advice please be assured that CORE will be implementing.
Hand sanitiser has been placed in high traffic areas and on the Host Desks. Please use every time you walk into the space.
Every time you go through a kitchen or use the bathroom wash your hands with soap.
Frequently touched areas (door handles, lifts, handrails, etc.) are being regularly sanitised.
Tables and chairs are being regularly sanitised.
Additional cleaning staff has been implemented.
Elevators are being wiped down every hour.
CORE Community events have been postponed for the foreseeable future (we are currently moving online).
All dishes are to be put through dishwashers, not just hand washed.
We have instructed staff to reduce personal contact with Members and guests, so please do not be offended if a welcome handshake is not offered or accepted.
How CORE is supporting you and your business
This situation is difficult and it is going to require all of us to work together not just around the health and safety measures but also in how we support fellow businesses and entrepreneurs.
Create Content - With face to face events, workshops and training being restricted CORE are providing our Podcast Studio and Video Studio free of charge to members so they can produce content for your customers and stakeholders. Please contact Tessa to book this equipment for use in the space.
Government Stimulus - The Federal Government is expected to announce new stimulus measures in the coming days, CORE is organising a video with our accounting partner to explain what this means for your business. This will be released next week so please subscribe to our Youtube Channel.
Remote Work - CORE members are usually a little ahead of the curve with remote work and using technology to better enable their teams and businesses however we have compiled some tips here for remote work and how to better enable your team. We have also had members ask if they can split their team across our spaces which we are happy to facilitate.
Innovation and Collaboration - Constraints are a driver of innovation and there will be new ways of work, businesses and ideas created through this pandemic. We are thinking about how CORE can innovate at this time and if you think there are collaboration opportunities with CORE and your business please let me know.
If you have any other ideas, questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to myself or one of the CORE team. We have a challenging few months ahead but we are confident working with our community we can get some great outcomes and impact.
