Chironix Announced as second CORE Start Award recipient

Perth-based technology company Chironix have been selected as the winner of the second CORE Start Award.

The CORE Start Award provides promising resources tech start-ups with three months of co-working at CORE coupled with facilitated industry connections and support to grow their business. Awardees remain connected as CORE Start Alumni for ongoing opportunities.

In addition, the CORE Start recipient will receive tailored support from CORE and awards partner NERA to grow their business. 

Announcing the award at CORE's Second Anniversary celebration on Thursday 23 August 2018, NERA CEO Miranda Taylor said Chironix was a worthy winner and has an exciting future in the energy resources sector.

“Chironix represents exactly the type of company we love supporting – dynamic, developers of cutting-edge technology and keen to drive world-class innovation right here in Australia for the benefit of our industries,” Ms Taylor said.

“CORE provides a unique co-working space and an incubator of ideas for the resources and energy sector. Chironix works across Robotics, Machine Learning, Data Engineering and Cloud. They apply robotics capability to industry, integrating sensors and other technical solutions to highly mobile robots to solve client problems. Chironix co-creates with their clients from idea inception through to procurement, and on the implementation of these solutions through a series of trials and workplace integrations.

Daniel Milford, Managing Director of Chironix, said the CORE Start Award would be a major boost for the company.
